Any size will usually work, I just keep the psi regulated down to 30 or so psi.

Do not use those tire pumps on the jump packs and such.. Either a normal 110 compressor or maybe (do not have one to say one way or the other) viair style 12v ones. But you need them to be able to move a few cfm and a tank helps to stabilize the flow if you will so the compressor does not need to keep running.

Just make sure you get a "oil less" compressor so you don't contaminate the water lines.....
