What to Look For

Greetings Sunseeker community. My sister in law will be looking at a used Sunseeker, around a 2015-16 model in the coming days. Seeing that I have owned my Georgetown motor home six years, she has asked me to come along with her. As experienced Sunseeker owners, are there any distinct or unique items associated to your rigs that I should look for when assisting my SIL? This would be outside of normal everything works, leaks etc. Thanks!

cap..

The prime concern I would have is the front cap roof seal to the fiberglass top. A hard look at the overhead bunk side walls is a start, but no sub for going on the roof. I also would take an air guage to check that the rear bags hold air (looking for 50-80). Look for gen oil change data for ann maint, also a decent 4000 should fire up on second attempt after prime. As you know all other systems issues are R&R (remove and replace).

Good hunting....

I have no slide concerns, as I have no slides. But some one will chime in I imagine..

I would check the corners of the slides - where they meet the body. I have minor gel coat cracks there.

Get and follow a good PDI, specifically for your Sunseeker if possible. A written checklist would help ensure nothing was missed in your inspection, as well as recording the current state/condition of each system or feature.
