What TPMS do you use

I am ready to buy tire pressure system for my 3010DS. Looking for recommendations, what it to also work with my toad. I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge on this site so I always check here before making a purchase.

I bought a TST system based on all the good reviews I read here. Haven't used it yet. Can accommodate all the wheels you can throw at it, including TOAD. comes with a repeater, so the wheels all the way in the back can throw the signal up front.

TST 507 with the cap sensors is what I use. It is the most flexible monitor in terms of amount of tires and various pressures. You could also get the flow through sensors but I did not. You will want steel valve stems for the MH if you do get flow through sensors.

Many of the cheap ones would have issues with the toad and a MH because of the tire pressure ranges so check closely for something that can support 35lbs and over 100 as well depending on what your MH requires.

Whatever you get I would get the repeater. Most default to them now. They are more reliable that way. I had issues when I left a wireless thermometer on that would make it intermittent to update the tires and the repeater resolves this. Every tpms uses the same unlicensed frequencies and has the same issue from the research I did.

Best of luck!

I have the cap sensors as well and I take the security device off. Makes them lighter for times I use them with rubber valve stems and easier to take off. The flow thru sensor have had air leakage issues in the past as well.

What TPMS do you use

I use the TT-500 for 4 years now. Works, batteries are replaceable with a lifetime warranty. I am happy with it. Use it for the MH and toad. I wish it had other programming modes. With and without toad would be nice. Without toad, it will alarm lost signal which is true the toad is sort of lost.
My MH is 32' and no repeater is necessary.

Hi,

I have had TST flowthroughs for many years and recently upgraded to the color monitor.

I still am using my original sensors. I do a battery change every two years, and aversge about 5,000 miles a year on them.

Extremely satisfied in every way, FWIW.

Very happy with my TST flow thru. It provides peace of mind to see tire pressure without having to check them.

I have the TST 507 for one trailer and this one for another -

I wouldn't spend the money on a 507 again unless I needed to monitor more than 4 tires.

Incredibly enough, we just had a lengthy discussion on this subject last month. http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...er-178224.html
When I put TPMS into the search function it turned up about 20 discussions on this topic.

TPS 507

We pull a 30 ft. 5th wheel, weighs about 10,000 lbs.. Added the TST 507 with flow-through about 2 years ago. They work great, real time data while towing about temp and pressure. I love the peace of mind, knowing the tires are behaving properly. Highly recommend.

I use TST 507 and am fairly happy with them..They do not show accurate pressure so I have to offset it in my mind and ad 5 psi to the readout..I called TST and they said send senders in to be checked but it was too much trouble so I did not.

TPMS

EEZ Tire here with no problems. Been using if for 2 seasons. I do not have the flow thru sensors and removed the anti-theft covers. 4 sensors on truck and 4 on 5'er. 25 feet from rear tire to display.
Happy Shopping!

TST 507 - Flow-through sensors on metal stems.

Color monitor.

Used cap sensors on towed, repeater is easy to mount in storage.

No issues.

Had the Tireminder and hated it. Now I have the TST 507 color with the screw on flow thru sensors and it is great. TST is the way to go.

My favorite

EEZ TIRE. Will monitor up to 26 tires. Best on the market. Very easy to set up. Can read LCD screen in very bright sun light. Long life battery easy to recharge. Extremely satisfied.
