What's in your wallet? I mean your bays...

Since we have a kitchen sink I do not carry one in "my space", the bays... But I think I am ready for bear in every other regard...

I started this thread to reconcile a proper list, but also how best to stow it.

I addded a few pics in my album, and would love to see others so I can borrow some ideas.
The objective is to reduce weight while increasing the capability or variety of items I drag down highway...

There are some critical items for each of us. For me it is spare blue ox tabs (lugs) that connects the tow bar, because if I break one (doubt that) or have one fall off while parked (helped by unknown fingers at 30 bucks a pop) then I would have to un-toad. So what have I missed? Now this is tempered as DW has custody of a the cooach interior that represents what a house would have. Think garage...

From my perspective here is my short list of the "important" items:

Flood lights, like the idea. Wonder how much room I have to yield for an air compressor that can hit 85 for the tires (without taking 10 minutes)..... Do you run on board air for your rear bags?

We always carry an oscillating fan, it has many uses. To keep you cooler inside and out. Helps keep the bugs away, a little noise to help with sleep and blow away campfire smoke if your firewood is too green.

I have one of those oil-less pancake compressors. 150psi. does tires, toys and winterize or anything else you can think of. Not heavy and doesn't take up much room. And enough tools I could probably rebuild RV!

Like A32Deuce I have nice pancake that's up to 100# in aminute or minute an a half and plugs into the dyson outlet in my big rear compartment. The air lift compressor is in the side compartment and strictly for the air bags. Started dumping the air bags when I level so backend comes down a little and front doesnt have to go floating in space and I usually use the ramps I carry

Never considered dropping bag pressure to assist the front level lift. Looks like I need a compressor...

Lowering pressure in the airbags to keep the front wheels from lifting off the ground sounds like a great idea. Thanks.

Don't want to mislead you guys I got the air lift mostly for the air bags losing pressure. But after being srrounded by A's all summer and watching them dump front and rear bags tried dumping my rear bags to 5-6# and liked the way it leveled. Still used ramps for the front at some of the State Parks we stayed.

Black & Decker Power Station with Air Compressor (which I have already "blown") and jumper cables and inverter plug ins

Three different models of the "Slime" brand of Air Compressors (one that you hook up to engine battery, one that you connect via 12 volt, and one that you can plug into an outlet, hey, just want to be covered....)

Small step ladder

two small beach chairs (no, I don't go to the beach, these were gifts)

Tub with sewer hoses

A small step for outside my door

Lynx Blox (two cases) and the tire backstops that work with Lynx Blox (and there have been times I have had to use one full case and a partial case)

Pads for the Quadra Big Foot

Rubbermaid Tool Box with lots of tools I don't know how to use....

Two small plastic boxes with stuff like fuses, batteries, playing cards, both are pretty much "junk" boxes

Fan

Flat long plastic box for my hoses (25 foot and 3 five foot hose)

Extra water filters.

A "three drawer" plastic thing with 30/50 and 30/20 connectors, and heat tape and insulation wrap and duct tape

A BIG plastic drawer full of extra lotions and potions and soaps and shampoos I purchased over the years and never used

A black wheel with a thick high powered extension cord wrapped on it.

A plastic box with flashlights and two way radios (Ok, I'm a solo, who am I going to talk to on those radios? What can I say, they were a gift....)

Extra sponges and bacteria wipes and Britta filters and Borax and dish washing soap and laundry soap

I have one small storage bay left over, so what's in there? Backup gallons of white vinegar (I use this!) and plastic bottles of lemon juice (I use this!) and cans of soup and bottles of juice

As for dumping the air bags, I'm SKEERED to touch those things.....

Am I the only one bringing, various lengths of rope for clothslines, tarps, nice recliner for sun soaking, bored games, GPS, DVDs, books, tools to change a tire ( I sometimes find myself far from humanity, by choice), Viagra, (just joking dear). Lists, of things that stay in MH, things that are added each trip, lists of basic foodstuffs and condiments. Enough tools to do a motor overhaul including a cordless drill. A wheeled water transporter for dry camping. granted, not all of these things go in my basement but many do and like Hoglou I only have a 23 footer.

I carry a small electric leaf blower. Can mess in handy for many things as well as camping neighbors have used on occasion.

I don't carry a leaf blower, but it sure would be handy for getting stubborn charcoal or damp firewood going.
