FR reimbursed us for the cost of alignment and the bushing modification under warranty. It is well worth doing even if not warranted. Thanks Forest River!

TW0 max. I only needed one because the passenger side was good.

Alignment

Drove about 1000 miles from Texas to southern Cal.. This was the hardest trip I ever made due to the constant right, left, right, left from slop in steering. Mine needs the alignment bad. Who do I contact for authorization, dealer, Ford or Forest River? I am mostly parked for the next 3 months, but I don't look forward to the white knuckle trip back home in Texas.

Contact your dealer who should be able to get authorization from Forest River if you want to be reimbursed. If you are beyond 90 days from purchase FR may not reimburse or that's what my dealer told me. I was less than 30 days so I got covered. Few RV dealers do alignments and many Ford dealers can't handle RVs because of their size and height so you may find it hard to locate a shop able to do it.

Just bite the bullet and find an alignment shop and have it done. Have them set the caster to the max specified in the specs.

I would contact Travis Logan at FR for warranty reimbursement, but more importantly, as others have suggested, just get it done.
