We had a set of those on our old Four Winds 26Q on Ford E-350. Apparently they took a hard hit - one had the shaft bent and was missing most of the ball bearings. As they hang down, they become more of an anchor than a help.
I removed them, and built up a"Tail Dragger" that mounted in the receiver hitch:
When mounted, it didn't act like an anchor, and yet provided the necessary help when the tail was on the ground:
When we purchased the 2250, I initially kept this but soon figured out the Sunseeker was not a tail dragger.
Subsequently I gave the roller to the new owner of the Four Winds.
One other thing that helped the sagging mess was to add the Firestone air bags, which brought the tail up about 5-6 inches. It was still a tail dragger, but not to the extent it was before installing the air bags.
We've never dragged the tail in the 3+ years we've had the 2250, which makes me a very happy short Sunseeker/Chevy owner!
