Scissors jack

My 27WP TH came with one set of stabilizers only - I can't remember front or back. My dealer GAVE me a pair for the other end but he was very adamant that I not call them "jacks" - they are stabilizers only not to be used for lifting the camper, only to keep it from rocking when you walk in it. I guess FR figured you'd never un hook or that the tongue jack (yes that is a jack) would hold it stable. The stabilizers were easy to install. Drill 4 holes for each in the frame, put in a good grade 5 bolt and use a nylon locknut and it's done. My camper is very stable now that I have a stabilizer on each corner.

10-4 on stabilizers, that is all I want out of them. I've been
looking at the Husky's 7500 for about $75 for two. Just not
sure if I can just use self taping screws to hold it. Suggestions?

Added 2 to my TT bought them at Harbor freight , 2 1/4 ton each, 23 1/2 inch max height, cost $31.99 each plus they have coupons usually 25% off one item so you have to purchase one at a time to get. $24 before tax. They work great and mount with 4 large machine screws or if your handy weld to frame.

You are correct about the Lynx Blox, but.... when one is on their first RV and knows NOTHING...... I used Lynx Blox on my first RV, a small 24 foot Class C. Worked ok. When I upgraded to a 28 foot Class C, Lynx Blox didn't cut it.

Looking at my 3170 today after reading this thread it looks to me if you are mounting jacks at the rear I would build brackets to mount the jacks using either the existing holes in the frame that hold the bumper on or the holes that hold the hitch on that way you don't drill holes in the frame.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread yet, but I would do a internet search for cross frame stabilizer jacks. Comes with 2 jacks mounted to a c channel that bolts to your frame using U bolts. No need to drill or weld on your frame rails. That's what our 06 Sunseeker has.
