Wifi repeater installation on 3050s- cabling through roof

Want to install a wifi repeater in my 3050, but want a nice clean install. Only two options I can think of for cable run to the antenna...
1) remove existing coax entry plate from the roof, order a plate to accommodate a second run of cable, and then run the cable through the same entry point. Only issue is the existing coax runs through the roof to the opposite side of the RV. The plate appears to be above the cabinets, but I am not sure if I can drill through the ceiling from the existing plate to reach the interior of the cabinet for mounting of the router.
2) run the wiring through the fridge vent and behind the refer. Only issue is how to get the cabling from the back of the refer to a suitable router mounting location.

Anyone tackled this or a similar issue on their 3050 (or 3051) and have any insight on how to get cabling to a good router location? I don't want to put any additional holes in the roof or sidewalls...

Thanks in advance!

Run it down through the fridge vent, No holes have to be drilled, this is where we have all our cables for our solar panels come in to,

WestCoast, with coming through the existing antenna roof hole, did you just bring the second cable run straight down into the cabinet over the couch? Looks like where I would like to end up, and also the cleanest location. However, I just want to make sure that I can drill straight down from that location and end up in the right spot before I pull the existing plate.

I looked at coming through the fridge vent, but once the cabling is behind the fridge, there's nowhere really to go with it that would make for a clean looking install on the router... And I don't want to mess with pulling the fridge.

Can that run on 12 volts or does it need 110v.

The wire going through the awning bracket is the RG58 coax cable that goes to the antenna. The repeater gets the 110V through a small AC transformer that I plug into a 110 outlet that I feed from the over cab sleeping area.

MattAndLisa,

If you can go through the fridge vent this is the way to go. I installed a Willson cell phone booster in our 5th wheel. The installation instructions was to keep the coax cable from the antenna to the booster as short as possible not loosing strength.

I therefor opted to go through the back wall (very scary drilling through the wall), I know you don't want to go through the wall but not as bad as one would think.

I did the installation back in 2011 and have been across Canada and back and then some and it all still looks good. Here is a link to our blog with the installation.

Good luck,
