Will this work? Vent Cover

Will a vent cover fit if the vent opens to the side? BTW, it's a fantastic fan. Click image for larger version

If you put the cover on sideways, yes it will work.

Why is the fan sideways........

no.... going down the road air will get under it and make it unstable and loosen up stuff and rip off. Get it fixed correctly.

The aerodynamics in the design of the vent cover will be lost. The head winds will be placed directly on the flat side of the cover, I not sure it is designed to hold up to 60 plus MPH wind force. I would turn the fan the correct direction and then do a vent cover if it were me.

Hey we went thru all of this the other day. Same as the other day,turn the damn vent with the hinge to the Front of the unit and put the Cover on it! Youroo!!

Folks wanted a pic the other day. Some said it wasn't an easy fix... Still have no idea why it was installed this way. Must have been Friday afternoon?
