Window screen

Iam looking for anyone that can give me any info on finding parts for my 1999 class c sunseeker 280 model. In particular a window screen on the right side window.Thank you.

If you have the frame you could replace the screening material which is available at all hardware stores.

If you don't have the frame you could probably also buy the frame sections at the hardware store. I recently saw what looked like my window screen frames in Home Depot.

I have checked every place u can imagine even some salvage yards . The problem is its not completely squart there are 2 corners rounded on it.anyour other help.

I saw the rounded corners at Home Depot in the screen door section.

Ok thanks I will check again.They told me that they didn't have the size I need and couldn't even order it.

It's not the screek door it's the window above the sofa on the side passenger.

The frames I am talking about you assemble yourself. You can make a custom size. All you need is four straight sections and the corner sections. You can cut the straight sections to your desired length. I think I used a hack saw.

I did this for screen doors at home using the square corners. I was surprised to see the curved corners in stock and in black!

No but There was a thread this summer that had links for window parts. I recall a dog jumping out a window and causing damage to the mechanism.

Just checked wit home Depot and Lowes they don't have anything likelse that screen or I can't make one because of radius corners. Any other ideas appreciated.

This company doesn't have what I need either just a window but not screen with frame.

Sorry for the wasted trip. Next time I am there I will take photos to get their PLU numbers or box label.

I have not checked recently but some departments in Home Depot are staffed by outside contracting departments. The offer and sell what their companies want to sell. If you want something other than that (decks, windows, roof replacement, floor covering, etc.) you are wasting their sales time and opportunities.

If you talk to a window salesman he may not know about what I told you to look for.

You want to go to the window and door parts bins. In the store that I was in it was on a shelf near the screening material along the back wall of the store close to the lumber department. Most stores are laid out to the same pattern.

I have been plannng to return to that particular store for weeks, hopefully I will get there when I return from my current trip.

My local Ace Hardware has the assemble yourself screen frames but I don't know if they have the radiused corners.

I visited the Home Depot where I saw the radiused corners but that aisle was closed and blocked off. No employees in the area. I eventually moved the barricade to get closer to that shelf. All I saw was the square corner one in white and black. This particular store has been slipping over the past year, I also didn't find other stuff I wanted.

I will check again when I am in hardware stores.

It has to be a fairly commn piece considering all of th RV's with that kind of window. Maybe not for stick home retail hardware but I have not found a supplier on line yet.
