Winterizing 2003 3100SS

I am new to the entire RV experience and am thinking about winterizing my new (used) 2003 Sunseeker LE 3100SS. I have the tire covers ordered as it will be stored outside in Ohio.

My question is this, Are these complete RV covers for sale at Camper's World any good for protecting the RV!? I do not see many of them on stored RV's and was wondering if it is worth the $400.00 and trouble to apply them.

Any thoughts!?!??

I live in Northern Ohio and always used a full cover on my trailer without any issues. It helps keep the trailer clean through the winter months by keeping branches, leaves, birds droppings, snow, ice build up, ect. off of it. I'm too much of a clean freak to just let it sit outside all winter long without a cover on it. Shop around for the cover as I found my last one on ebay priced pretty good and the material was heavy duty as well with a warranty. hope this helps.

I believe using a cover in the winter is vital. The roof of an RV takes a beating...hot sun, rain, snow, freeze, thaw, etc. Covering in the winter will help preserve the roof, seals, and seams and will help keep your unit in good shape. I bet you can do better price wise than $400 if you sop around. Anyway, well worth the money and effort.
