Android app
I have tried to open the forum app on my Samsung tablet this morning but it doesn't work and won't open up. Anyone else having any problems with the app? Thanks

I just checked, and the green android app is not responding for me either. Thanks for the heads up, and let me get a note sent into our tech team.

Interesting... I used the app at 6:00 AM EST and it worked fine.
It is inop. now.

I just logged into the orange Tapatalk app and all is fine.
(it does look differently but in fairness, I've not been into it for a couple weeks)
Still a no go on the green FR app.
Android OS.

FR android app crashing
Edit by site team, this post was moved into this same subject thread:
I have been having an on again off again crash of the FR forums app. I have this on 3 different carriers and three different phones. Is anyone else having this issue?
If I wait long enough it will work again but then will crash later when trying to startup (looks like after the GPS) but even if I uninstall the app it will crash before I can grant or deny the GPS permissions.
I am happy to provide detailed logging for review but would need to know where to send it.
Here is what I have tried to see if it resolves the issue:
Reboot
Cleared app cache
Cleared app data
Both of the above and uninstall
Reinstall and crash
Changed permissions
I have tried this on a Samsung gs8 active, gs9+, and note8 all running oreo. Note that no problems prior to a week ago and I have been on oreo for gs9+ for months...long story there. I just updated the gs8 active and note8 when the problem started to occur but not sure if they are 100% related as it could be web content causing the crash as well.

Any updates? When I try to open the Android app, it opens for a brief second then I get a message "Forest River Forums has stopped" and the only option is to close the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with same result.

No updates of yet. Hopefully the tech guys will get if worked out soon. The tapatalk app version on android is working.

yep, doesn't work on either android devices. i dumped cache and restarted, with no luck.
i uninstalled the app and reinstalled, still no luck.

App won't open
I'm not able to open the app either, since last night. My phone and tablet both indicate the app has "stopped." I went through the browser on my tablet to check for any info of a problem.

App problem?
Is something wrong with the phone app? All of a sudden, mine keeps saying there is a problem. All other apps are ok.

There was an update yesterday to that app and it now seems to be broken for android users. We have contacted the developers and are hoping for a solution quickly.
If you have the option to send a trouble report after the app fails, please do - that info goes to the app devs and may help them find a solution more quickly.

Yes, my app had the circle indicator going round and round. I just closed the app and reopened it, has been working fine ever since.

I am also, l uninstalled and reinstalled, no change. Error says stopped working.
