Thanks Janet, I've tried to be very careful about the flash player because of its history.

I didn't think this was a crash but the player accurately picking up a script problem in a flash file, only happens every once in a while when logged to FRF, haven't seen it with other forums yet.

Based on what you said, I'll start plugging away on the Adobe site again to see what's wrong on my system plug-in. Flash may just be hard to keep up with on a daily basis.

Followup, the flash player update was the current one when I continued to have advertizer problems 10 days ago, so flash player itself did not seem to be my problem.

More important to mention, this past week is completely different than the past six months, for nine days I have not experienced FRF advertizer problems, my slow FRF start-up is now relatively fast consistent with other forums, and my browser has not reverted to protected mode due to issues with FRF code.

What a pleasant week, many thanks to whomever for whatever, this forum has started behaving like other public forums with my IE9 browser. Now, if it just holds up for the coming weeks.
