ATTN: administrators... Classifieds thread?

what do your great administrators think about a classifieds thread for items for our forum here? someone here might be looking for something RV/F.R. related that someone else might have extra or for sale ect...
5th wheel tailgates, 5er hitches, Reese WD hitches, ect..

I think the posts should drop off automaticly after 30 -45 days. I think the haggling over price should be by email or PM, not on the thread. I would hide the swap meet from non members, to prevent people from joining just to sell their stuff. And there should be some sort of disclaimer to keep admins out of jail.

All the items listed should be RV related, which could be difficult to enforce. An Xbox, for example, could be taken on an RV trip but is it RV related? Tennis raquets? Golf Clubs? I would draw the line very tightly around stuff that almost every RV'er or camper would use.

Firearms and other such would be prohibited.

And I would watch the thing like a hawk. A really hungry hawk. And shut it down about the 3rd time it gives us any trouble.

We can set it where a mininum number of post is requred to post there and yes this is a good idea.

I am travel for work and will be back home tomorrow and will set it up with some basic rules.

We have one at OUTBACKERS.COM, and it runs pretty smootly. Most are listing RV's as they trade up, and trucks too. Have really not had any real problems, and rules aren't overly restrictive.

Ok I have added the For Sale area and it may get moved but its up for now.

I will ask Jolly to help me on rules from the outbackers experience.

Its up and it works with no minimum post at this time.
