Bottom of the Homepage!!!
Someone needs to look at the bottom of the home page
below the topic post. There is a couple of advertisements.
One is for Rockwood/Flagstaff trailers. The other used to be
camping related, however it is not Anna Nicole Smith and
something about sex in a bathtub. Inappropriate at best.
FAMILY SITE??

I only see the Rockwood/Flagstaff forum, which is another message board and RV Outpost.

The two that H H mentions are the ones I usually see.
Is it possible that it could be on my end and I have a
virus? Does'nt seem possible to me but I am not 100%
computer savy.

You may have something on your computer that is over riding the ad that should be there. You need to get both an anti-virus product and an anti-spyware product installed if not already and run them. AVG-Free from Grisoft.com is free for antivirus and Spybot is free from safer-networking.org.

www.download.com
Spybot is freeware and works well against common spyware.
Adaware is free as well and takes care of other types of hacking/tracking tools.

Geez, what kind of sites are you surfing Nina!!! heehee. Ad-Aware SE Personal is also free and excellent at picking up those nasty little installed ads and data-miners.

I've subscribed to McAfee For years. No problems.
I don't like fessing up about $40 every year to keep it. Maybe it's time to go to AVG.
Any advantage to keeping the pay services? I still use AdAware SE, and ZoneAlarm firewall free.

A work we have switched most of our systems over to AVG-free. We were using Norton but they kept raising the price per year. After checking with a few of the local computer geeks in town, they all recommended the AVG-free program. They all hate Norton and McAfee. Both are too intrusive into your system while AVG does its job without that. As the remaining subscriptions to Norton expire, those machines will be switched.
