Cannot upload photos, and profile photo not showing in posts

All of my profile settings look OK. When replying to a post, the upload photo box comes up and only offers to upload from a URL and not my computer. And my profile photo is no longer showing with my post. Did something happen?

Nope. I go to "Insert Image" icon, and all I get is the option to upload from a URL. There is a box below this window that I am typing in right now which has "Add Video" in blue above it. I can browse my computer and find the photo I want to upload, but I don't see my image when I do that either. I will try that again right now.

I had to go down to "Manage Attachments" under the "Additional Options" line. THEN I get a box that lets me upload.

I still don't know how to get my avatar photo to show. Wow, I am burning thru some nice weather today and I would rather be outside than messing with this!

I went back to "Edit Avatar" and finally got the photo loaded. I had all this working OK a month ago, I apparently lost some of my settings and everything seems to be more difficult.
