I don't get certificate errors with MSIE 9 either.
I don't use Norton tho.... I use Avira anti virus.

Suggest turning your security setting down one notch.

I use Google, and when I open anything Google tels me that I am using a IE that is no longer supported and wants me to use Chrome. I close that out and check for windows update and nothing shows up. IE still works fine.

Well, Janet, here's the latest update. Just got to my PC and signed on this morning for the first time since early yesterday afternoon. The certificate error message has now disappeared (as mysteriously as it came). To doublecheck, I fired up IE a couple of times and clicked on a few links and it appears to be resolved. I don't know why, but it is good to see the FRF looking "right" to me again. Maybe there was something on the forum (a certificate signature or something) which was somehow off and the Help Desk or somebody fixed it. I don't know and don't care really, but I thank you and everyone for trying to help me with this these past few days. As always, this is a great online community of which I'm very happy to be a part.

Now that the problem seems to have solved itself, I remember having this problem with some third party ads that were shown on another forum. When the "problem advertiser" updated their security certificate, the messages stopped.

I think the "solution" prize goes here.
