East to West
I just bought a new Camper yesterday a the Cleveland RV Show and it is Forest Rivers New Line of Campers called East to West.
I was wondering if we could get a new thread under travel trailer for the East to West Brand?
Thanks

Hey....if the decal is new enough, you might be able to peel off the last letter “t”.
Then you’d have an EAST TO WES, Wes.

If you're talking about a new sub-forum, we don't usually add such for 4-5 units. Usually, we have to see enough activity to warrant a new sub-forum. I suggest you make your request known in this existing thread ==> http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ls-174662.html.

Hadn't heard of this line yet. Interesting.
As Mr. Dan pointed out, if you will, make a request in the thread he suggested so we can have a record of such to push to the top management. It also helps to put this brand in the title of any questions/posts so as to be able to see how many members may have such.
Thanks

Wow, another line on top of the NoBo, Evos etc lines that were added last year. Though this one seems to be a line outside the actual forest river umbrella, they are listed on the website page like the Prime Time and Shasta lines. Does that make it a different manufacturer?
It was already a big job trying to find the right camper with all these lines/options figure out.

It look like it's a new manufacturer. But it and NoBo are both under the FR RV family.

The story is the daughter of the Forest River Owner wanted to start a new line so he gave her a factory to start East to West

Forest River doesn't have a single owner, it's a corporation.
They do have a president/CEO, Peter Liegl. Is that what you meant?

Peter Liegl was founder of Forest River around 1996. Forest River sold to Warren Buffet and Berkshire Hathaway, inc., which is primarily run by Warren Buffet as well. But I do believe it was Peter Liegels daughter.

We just purchased the East-to-West Della Terra 28KBS. It was the perfect floorplan for us.

I am looking for some advice. I am readyto purchase a new travel trailer and have narrowed my choices down to , an East to West Alta 2810KIK or Forest River Vibe 28RB, both 2020. I have seen reviews on older Vibes which were not to good and nothing on the Alta. Any advice would be appreciated.

There hasn't been any activity for Grand Surveyors since 2018. Can't you drop them and add EW and find out how many of us are out there. It is a FR division.

Did you make your request known in the thread I mentioned in my 17 month old post you quoted?

Thread is too old and the website won't allow me to add on to it, so I guess I'll add more here.

Me too. I have an East to West Silver Lake 25KRB. (There are a few of us. How many do we need to make it worth while?)

The thread is not too old to add to. Did you check the box at the end of the “old thread” messsge by which you acknowledge the thread is old? Click that box.
Edit: I passed this request to site management.

No, no I didn't. Seems like if it is a FR product, it would be included in the Forest River Owners Group Forum.

You might not have seen this disclaimer at the bottom of most pages:

That sub-forum request thread was initiated for all requests such as this.

Seems that if EW is good enough to promote the forum and mention it with there product and literature, they would be included automatically. Maybe they should be told not to mention the fact that owners are basically members with the trailer.
