Edit my post

How do I edit my post in a thread I started? Typically there is a way to edit my post but on occasion that option just disappears.

I need to add info to my thread about our rally and want to add info to the first post which is mine.

You have a limited amount of time to edit a post before the post window closes. Once the window closes, the best way to make changes is to reply to the thread with the changes you wish to make.

Okay thank you. I wondered why the option would disappear. I thought editing my first post would make it easier for people to find the rally information.
