Explanation of symbols and bold print

Two questions
1. Is there somewhere that explains the different symbols that show on a post, those not added by the person posting?

2. Why do some post have a bold title and others just plain print?

1.I would need more info to answer correctly, as possibly a link to an example of this.

2. Where are you talking about the post titles. Usually a emboldened post means it has posts you haven't read in the thread, and a post title not emboldened means there have been no new posts since you last visited that thread.

Thanks for getting back to me. The symbols I was referring to are the ones that are to the right of the title under rate thread.

I went to a thread with bold title and went thru the entire thing post each page and then went to another thread and back to the original, there was no change in the bold type on the original post. When I have posted a new thread it has never appeared in bold on my computer. Its not a big deal just something I was wondering about thanks for your help

Are you talking about the paper clip (means there is an attachment in the thread ie a picture or file) and push in (sticky).

Not sure I understand what a "Sticky" is the paperclip I had figured out but not the light blue symbol that seems to appear on all posts.

What I was actually looking for was an admin page (I may have missed it) where I could look this stuff up without wasting other folks time. I have tried the search mode with no luck.

The light blue square shape with a downward facing arrow in it, if clicked, takes you to the first unread post since you last visited THAT particular thread.

If you are browsing the site on a computer (not using the app on a phone or tablet) then you should be able to hover your mouse pointer over all the symbols and a little tip box will show up explaining each one.

Here's an example:

The titles may be in bold font of the original post was typed that way. I have a friend that typed all messages in CAPS.
