Full-Time Insurance

Hi all!

I just found out that our current carrier, GEICO, doesn't do full-time insurance anymore, neither does Progressive. I'm having trouble finding it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Progressive does. I just got a quote from them a month or two ago:
https://www.progressive.com/rv/rv-in...s-full-timers/

National Interstate does, also.

Personally, I opted for using a broker and went with the folks at:
Miller Insurance Agency

And also interacted with the folks at:

Just a comment on insurance. We are retired and try to get away to a warmer area for the months of Feb/Mar.
I contacted USAA and now we are are on their permanent "no insure" list. I requested a quote ( which we never received). Reason given: secure and leave your present permanent fixture home for 30 days and it is considered abandoned. REALLY?
Soooo, the moral of this story is be cautious what you ask for!

Why do you need full time ins. When going full time?

Clarification

A. NOT going full time

B. WARNING not to elaborate answers to any insurance company questions.

Summary: we plan to travel x usa next year and may be gone several months. UNLESS SOMEONE IS ACTUALLY LIVING IN THE HOME, after 30 days, for insurance clarification, the property for this particular national company considers it ABANDONED AND NO LONGER INSURED.

We had National Generl or about 2 years with no claims........then they raised the rates......almost 70%. Went to Progressive for less than what NG wanted 3 years earlier and have more coverage.
