P.S. The former RCA Corporation introduced a snap-in plastic insert known as a 'spider' to make 45 rpm records compatible with the smaller spindle size of a 33⅓ rpm LP record player. The Hutchison adapter included small bumps called "drive pins," which locked the adapters together while revolving, thus preventing the stacked records from slipping against each other. Several manufacturers made "spider" adapters in slightly varying shapes and many different colors, though yellow and red were most frequently used

When registering, my state of residence came up as Alabama and should be Georgia.

I see mentions about adding my equipment information with my signature.
When I go to Signature in settings I get a "signature is disabled in this forum" message.

FYI, I'm using the Android app on a phone.
Are some functions computer only?

The user name has provisionally been changed. I say this as there is another member by the username of Kirk Sr. These names are actually close enough to cause confusion, and if so, we may have to change yours.

I can fix this for you, but you can use the full web version and go to your "user cp" and then "your profile"-edit details- save changes

again go to user cp-setting and options-edit signature. Add a signature and make sure to save.


now under the setting and options-edit options. Scroll down under 'thread display options" and make sure the show signature box is checked. Scroll down to bottom and make sure to save changes. Once you do all of this, your signature should show up in your posts, even via the app.

Yes, some functions are only via the full website, as the app is streamlined. However, there are two apps, and there are even differences between the two as to functions.
