I just posted my first post on the welcome mat and when I viewed it tonight a video appeared below my post. This was something I did not attach. I am not the most computer savvy person but I would hate for a inappropriate add or video to pop up there. Is there something in my settings I need to turn off or is this just normal. I know that sometimes Forums use advertising to help with the cost of running the site so if this is the case I am good with it. Just wanted to make sure.
I just checked it out and didn't' see any signs of a video. Sounds like a pop-up advertisement which can be blocked via settings and/or with pop-up blocker software.

Oh OK I see so it was just a pop-up on my end. Thanks so much I know my son has told me of a software that blocks pop up's I will have to get him to install it for me
Be careful of the software settings as it may cause some features of this site to stop working.

If you login with your username it reduces the number of pop ups you see. Since you saw one in your post you probably weren’t logged in.
