Logging Out Unexpectedly

Twice today I have been logged out without knowing it. I've checked in the User CP and I can't find anything that can control how long I am logged in. And I haven't left the site and returned. I don't know how long it lets me stay logged in before it throws me out. Anyone else having this problem?

There is nothing in your profile that should cause you to be logged out automatically. This is the first case I have heard of it. Maybe Mike Rimmer has an idea as to why it is happening.

I find that it does the same thing to me after periods of inactivity if I do not check the "remember me" box on loggin in and if I haven't cleared out the cache on my browser.

so try clearing the cache and restarting your broweser and when you log in check the remember box and see what happens

Interesting.

If you check the remember me box it should not log you out unless You have a program on your machine that will not let is save a cookie.

Let us know, Mike

I've been checking the "Remember Me" box and I haven't had anymore problems. But then, if I have to tell it to remember me every time, I'm thinking it doesn't want to remember me. That could lead to an inferiority complex, which could lead to other problems... I hope I don't need a therapist for this.

The user profile looks good as Kim stated. I will look around some more for a problem.

after some testing.........

I changed my password and it would log me out after inactivity even though I had logged in with the remember me box checked.

Cleared the cache in I.E. and worked fine.

If anyone doesn't know how to clear their I.E. cache I'll do a quick writeup in the how to section

I didn't mean to imply there might be a glitch on the site. If it came on like that, I apologize. I cleared my cache and checked the "Remember Me" box and I've been logged on about 45 minutes without any problem. I find that computer problems are usually on my end anyway. Thanks for all the help.

Well we're just happy you haven't developed a serious complex about it. Generally the site works fine works fine worksfineworksfineworksfine.

Technically soultuions are a lot like Soul Train and are very hard to find but easy to dance to. While we are looking for those, we also keep an eye out for solutions to problems. We are that thorough.

I added two new domains to acces the site.

Try www.rv-times.com or www.fr-rv.com

New ways to get to the fun.

Yeah, but it's called Le Cabouse de la Soul. Hosted by Marcel Marceau. It was good but you pretty much had to guess the name of the band.
