Marking a thread solved?

This morning I posted an update to this thread: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ml#post1042743

It occurred to me that by doing so I've now moved it to the top. In researching how to edit my original post to boldly put RESOLVED at the top of it, I see that it cannot be done after some period of time. But now I feel bad that some will spend a lot of time reading that long thread only to find out it is resolved.

Is there a way to mark a thread resolved or should I have just left the thread alone?

I can't answer your question directly but will say that the knowledge gained by reading a whole thread and the process involved solving that problem is as important as the final solution. Lot to be learned by reading the path to the solution and the thinking process involved. Never a waste of time.

I'm with the site team. I added a 'resolved' phrase to your title and posted something in it.
