On my iPad I didn't see these ads until I decided to reply to a post. They are intrusive but they help pay the freight so that we can use this site for free. I can accept the ads for that reason.
I think the site team does a first rate job and that is both my personal and professional opinion. I was an Advertising Director for a large newspaper company. I was constantly frustrated by the poor web presentation of the newspaper products based on upper management incompetence. This site is far superior.
But PLEASE make sure it is apparent that an ad is an ad and an article is an article. Advertorials should be labeled as such. And PLEASE, NO SLEAZE.
There is a TV station in Philly that had a great web site and app. Now they mix news and ads and redirections into a mish mash of vomit. They no longer care about the consumer.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm really proud of everyone here at FRF who help foster this community. It's a tremendous resource for all Forest River owners and we should be proud to collectively make this place great.

The plan is to promote content to RV Life. On each row of articles there will be one hard coded item, like a link to RV Park Reviews (our sister site) or RV Trip Wizard (RV Park Review's sister site). Right now there is also an iRV2 Rally mention also in rotation. Basically we plan to use these slots to spots to promote our own services in hopes that more people find/use them.
In case you all are not aware, RV Park Reviews is just awesome. In its 15th year now with hundreds of thousands of reviews on 17,000+ campgrounds. It's a great example of how RVers can work together to help each other find great places to camp!

Hello,
I am seeing a "You may also like:" post that breaks the forum rules. It is talking about Politics and 9/11. Seems odd a political commentary is being handled by the site team inserting something that is forbidden on the site itself. I read it and other than a statement being on a ferry, assuming with a RV, has nothing to do with RV Life.

Is it the one with the flag? I have one for "The election and RVing."

Ads causing reading difficulty
I know that I defended the use of the ads in prior posts but in last few weeks it seems the pages are jumping too often while loading the various ads. That jumping interrupts my reading pleasure. I get aggravated.
It stinks. I generally avoid going to web sites that have too many ads taking too long to load. But this forum is important to me.
FYI, this occurs on my iMac and my Mac laptop as well as on my iPad and my phone.

Ad Blocker man- it's the solution! I now use a program called uBlock Origin for it.
