Paid ads

Is it just my imagination or are we being buried with more and more ad copies in this FROG app? Quite annoying. Almost like watching cable tv whereas every program is simply another platform for tons of advertisements.

I'm so sorry, were you saying something.. I use Tapatalk and lots of adds there. Apps cost money like in excess of 1520,000. They need to be paid for somehow, NOTHING IS EVER TRULY FREE.

Reminds me of the guy who was complaining about the somewhat provocative and bordering adult only ads.. He was making a big stink until someone clued him (and others) that the ads are created from your browser history and tracking cookies.. Boy that was awkward!

Install ad block or ad block mobile. It is free and will get rid of the ads for you. I use it and have no ads at all.

Man there are a lot of these threads recently.

Adblocker (and the like) are resource hogs for your computer. You can do this for free without using memory and processor power by host blocking. My favorite site for this: Using a Hosts File To Make The Internet Not .... (as much)

I only get adds I want like the RVLife links.

Some sites are getting wise to Ad Block and won't load or will load in machine language. I've been using it for years as well. This site is currently showing 12 blocked ads.

You should not have that issue with host blocking on a computer. I don't.

Adblocker also only blocks advertisements. Host blocking can also block nasty internet things like known malware, fake news, gambling, etc . . . if you so choose.

Host blocking does have one downfall. It is more difficult to do on devices you don't have full control over, like a non-rooted Android phone.
