Park Model Sub Forum?

I was wondering if the forum administrators have ever considered including a sub forum for Park Model Homes since Forest River sells them. I thought it would be really nice to talk to other Park Model owners and be able to share ideas and fixes.

Forum Admin - Please Respond

I guess I should have asked first how to get a Forum Admin to respond to a post.

Park Models are something we've been discussing for a while now, but haven't made a final decision yet. We are still working on this an will hopefully have an answer shortly.

Avenger, I am not familiar with park models. Are the units actually a trailer where the wheels are attached ?? Or is it similar to a modular home where the frame and wheels go back to the factory for reuse ??

Some people confuse or call (Destination Trailers) Park Models. Destination units the (Frame and Tires) stay with the unit! They are built to different standards & Codes than TT's! Youroo!!

youroo, I was asking about park models not destination trailers. Forest River lists them as 2 separate entities.

All the park models I've seen have had the wheels still attached. I think some can have the a-frame coupler removed though.

I own a park model and a fifth wheel. Big differences on in construction of each. The fifth wheel is travel ready with fresh water, holding tanks, batteries for power, and light weight.
The park model is build heavy duty with regular home utilities that is a house on wheels.
