They're not. When you use an app on a smartdevice, the pics sometimes appear 2x but when you get out and back in, pics are not posted in duplicate. I agree with Flybob.

It is a glitch in the app software.
They do show twice when you first post them (but only you see two) and then as mentioned, back out of the thread and then go back and you will see only one.

Smartphones are supposed to be more powerful than the computers in the Apollo space capsule. But you can't get one to take you to the moon.

The main software does that. Normally the second one will disappear.
