Photos to User
Every time I try to post a photo to my profile/rv page, it turns upside down, and if I turn it upside down prior to posting to try and counteract this, the page doesn't reverse as previously mentioned. Why does it hate me?

Might be because you have a Harley instead of an RV on your profile LOL just kidding I have no idea. I'm sure one of the moderators will help you fix it.

Most cameras and phones record attribute data along with the actual photo as part of the saved file. That data is used by the camera or phone to properly display the photo no matter which orientation you use the phone. If you are posting from a computer. Open the photo on the computer and save to desktop. Right click and click rotate to get the photo to look right. Then save under a new name. That photo usually does not have the attribute data so it will display properly.

So sorry. There's nothing about a wind deflector in this "Photos turned sideways" thread.

Progress
resizing by cropping seems to have done the trick. Thank you to everyone for their interest and input. And I will be putting a wind deflector on my truck, how did you know? Are you stalking me?

A little tip to you and others out here. If you are going to take a pic with your phone and post it on here....make sure you turn the phone sideways so you get a "wide" shot. Those pics will post normally. If your phone is right side up, when you post the pic, the site always seems to rotate them 90 degrees. It's happened to every pic I ever posted that was not shot wide.

I only shoot photos horizontally... They still show up side ways sometimes. Just the way the app reads the Metadata from the picture. This is where it tells the pic what orientation it was shot.

If you take the time to learn the correct orientation of your phone when taking pictures, your photos will be OK. Brands are different. Some want you to hold the bottom to the right, some left when in the wide/horizontal position. Some if you tilt too far over center, it flips the photo.
As mentioned, it makes no difference viewing on YOUR phone as it is designed to display the photo correctly no matter which way you turn your phone when viewing. The forum/app can't do that.
As NW mentioned, it's not rocket science.
