Could someone please tell me where the magic PM button is on the forum
is?

Its below the "Welcome" on the top right side of the page. Mine is high lighted in green "private messages" thats the link to the PM area

Also.... if you wish to PM someone as a result of a posting, simply click on their name in the left pane of the post. You will get 4 options, one of which is "send a PM" to the poster.
