Posts disappear

Question: I have posted to a thread a couple of times and my post or comment will appear for that day but the next day my posting is missing from the thread. I then go into my personal portal and it will not show that posting. Is this a glitch in the system or did I break some rule in the posting? I know the moderator can and will remove inappropriate posts but the removed posts are not inappropriate. I thought that I was loosing it the first time this happened.

Howdy clr, any posts deleted are actually not deleted from the site teams view. I went back all the way to the first of June and the only one of your posts deleted that I saw, was where you accidently posted twice in this thread, which the duplicate post was removed:

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...tml#post881541

I am not seeing anything else as far as posts. Do you have a specific thread (or posts) you can point out, and I'll do more research on it?

Now we move threads a lot, to the appropriate subforum. However, with a moved thread, the posts are still intact, and should still show up in your posting history.

Instead of using the portal button, try the "quick links" dropdown box and then "your posts" to see if that changes anything.

Thanks

Yesterday I posted to the "Can I use my Tahoe jack to jack up my Shamrock 21dk?" thread. It was there yesterday but gone today?

Interesting. I checked that thread and can find no evidence of you posting, so it was not deleted by a human. I will kick this to the tech support team and let them see if they can solve it.

wmtire, I had one yesterday. The Database error popped up as the site was not accessible. Was on mobile app, FRF android on BlackBerry. I believe it might be server load not completing the request when posting.

Good deal, these are things we need to know, so we can hopefully get it solved for everyone. Please always let us know if you encounter site difficulties.

I've had posts disappear too. Not that they were terribly important, but wondering if CRS getting worse!

Youroo asked that the entire thread be deleted as he couldn't get the pics to show up.

I have had pictures fail to display after having posted them. I can not see the picture in the first post of this thread....

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...tml#post921042

And also had the database error site not accessible error while trying to post. It did not seem that the post disappeared, but that it never seemed to have successfully posted in the first place.
