Is there a way to set default behavior in the additional options?
Specifically, I'd like to pick a daily notification type rather than instant.

You can change your notification and subscription preferences in your user cp. The link is on the upper nav bar or you can look here: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...do=editoptions

Be sure to scroll down and hit save once you have made your choices
