Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong , please? I am trying to upload a profile pic. I have resized the pic. to the required size. I browse for it, click to save it and keep getting an "Upload of file failed" message.

I see that you have a profile pic displaying. Did you mean an avatar pic instead (displays next to your posts)?

Hey got it. But when I did it I still got the error message that the file failed to upload?

Sometimes I get the same message even with the picture displaying. Computers are a funny thing.
Member status is based on number of posts. After a certain number of posts the status is upgraded to senior member. There is also an option for members to edit & personalize this line to something else (within reason).

I'm trying to add a profile pic too. Says max size is 300x300 pixels & 167k so I rescaled it to be within parameters. This is my test to see if it's working... 
And the answer is.... NOPE.

Another try for profile pic
Just one more try. Pic uploaded is less than 300x300 pixels according to Photoshop so my fingers are crossed... I've attached it as well but that may be the only way you get to see my rig!
