RE: All My Post have Red Triangles - WHY?

It seems every post I look at has a red triangle. I read it mean report thread, which I do not want to do. All I want to do is read it or add a comment.

I may have added it accidentally when I created my registry. I can not figure out how to get rid of it. I already removed myself from the registry and it is still there, so I have re-added myself.

How do I eliminate this triangle? I am not reporting every thread I read.
Any help would be appreciated to correct this issue.

It's not really an issue, as it's just part of the forum software. It will be on all posts, and you certainly do not have to report anything, but if you needed to report something to the site team, the triangle is what you would use to do such....as it would send us a copy of the post you are reporting as well as what you type in to report.

I'm assuming you are talking about the red triangle in this group of icons?

That's simply part of the forum software and is on every single post made here.

If you hold your cursor over each icon on the lower portion of the posts, you will see their function. The red triangle is for a member to report a post that they feel violated site rules. This will send a message to the site moderators who will investigate. During normal site usage, you will use either reply to post, quote and reply to post or start a new thread. when posting.

Yes, I am referring to that red triangle with the exclamation point in the center.

OK! As long as it is nothing to be concerned with.

I did hold my pointer over various ones and see what they do in fact mean.

Thank you!

You may not see all of the icons Iwritecode displayed as some are for Moderator use only.
