Signature and Profile Picture

I have uploaded a picture to be used in my profile and signature page, but it is not showing up when I post. The picture shows in my edit page. Anyone else with this problem.

If you're sure the pictures are the correct size did you "save signature"? On your profile picture did you "save changes"?

I think so, the stats are:300 × 225 39 KB. I think that is within the parameters. Thanks for the response.

There are 3 places you can upload customized pics and such.

Your profile pic is one, your sig pic is another, and avatars are a third option. You can make them the same pic if you like, but you have to upload the correct size pic for the correct places.

They are two different things, so the size for your profile pic is not the same size for your sig line.

It appears you have done this for your profile pic.

Now you need to do one for your sig pic (it can be different from your profile pic if you want)....but the correct size.

This may help:

Thats too big for a sigline pic. Here is the parameters for it:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 468 by 60 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

---------------------

Avatars are limited in size to 100 x 100 pixels or 100 KB (whichever is smaller).

----------------------
And for profile pics: The maximum size of your custom image is 300 by 300 pixels or 161.7 KB (whichever is smaller).
-----------------------

Just to make sure we are discussing the correct things, using my post as an example. The alligator with the tire is my avatar (max 100 X100 or 100kb). The diagram of my trailer at the bottom of this post is my sigline pic (max 488X60 or 19.5 kb).

If you went to my profile page, you will see I have the alligator with tire also set as my profile pic, (but it can be 300 X300 or 161.7 kb)

I can see your profile picture, it's your coach with a cute little puppy dog in the window.

I think you are confusing the profile picture with a signature picture.

My profile picture is also not showing up, and I cannot post pictures from my computer. It only gives me an option to post from a URL, which I don't have. I have gone to the FAQ and I don't see what I am doing wrong. I have posted photos OK in the past, and my profile picture used to show up in my posts.

I fixed mine - here's how

AVATAR is what you need to upload your photo, the one that shows up under your name.

For my photos to be uploaded and inserted as attachments to my posts, I had to scroll down under "Additional Options", click on "Manage Attachments", then, and only then, could I upload photos from my computer.

You have to go to your profile settings and edit the avatar.

I still can't get my photo to show up with my signature (different from the avatar). I edited the size, etc and it shows when I view the profile, but it still is not showing up. This is more difficult than it needs to be.

I want to have my sigline pic (like your diagram) show in my posts, but I can't do it. The pic I uploaded is only 9.7 KB.
