I hope every notices the speed improvements from earlier today to now. Thanks for your patience.

Yes we did move the site to some new hardware and that required a new IP address. Basically most mobile services cache domain name -> IP Address maps to save on bandwidth and speed up user experience as stated in ependydad's post.

After checking out the site, Janet and I were not very pleased with the response time. I have beefed up the server a bit and that seems to have resolved the sluggishness.

I hope by now all of your mobile apps have updated their DNS.

We chose FRF as one of the first Social Knowledge sites to move to new hardware because you guys are generally more open to change and are more tech savvy than some of our others. Thanks for being the guinea pig here. I have learned that we need to change our domain record to implicitly tell DNS servers to only cache our info for 30 minutes a few days before we attempt a move to a new IP.

Thanks again and let us know if more issues pop up!

- Jeff

What about photo issues with android using app?

I have to set resolution to minimum and even then the first try normally crashes the app.

Any suggestions?

I have error reporting on so you should see my thousands of reports lol

WED...15 Min? Hehe ya'll were still down - for me at least - until I went to bed last night

Oddly enough though, I was getting forum posting notices in email all yesterday - so I am clueless as to what was going on LOL!

Oh yeah...site is MUCH faster BTW! Good Job!
