Sorting by latest posting

I love researching the forum threads but is there not any way to sort on the latest postings? I just did a search for "weather radio" and the results were from 5 to even 10 years ago! Sure hope there's been some improvements and discussions more recently on this. Any thoughts on what I'm missing? Thanks.

if using the full web version of the forums, you can use the "advanced" search option..and select all kind or parameters, including dates.

Select the "search" dropdown arrow in the top menu bar, then advanced search.
