Suggestion Thread

I suggest we go camping.

It's another beautiful weekend, and I'm at home, working on the house.

We can't go camping next weekend either because of previous plans(DW attending baby shower for DD in-law).
I guess I'll do a few honey-dos around the house next weekend, again.

But wait, It's posible I may be able to go fishing while the DW is away. Yes, that's a good idea. Glad I thought of it. Thanks, self.

OK. New suggestion.
I suggest I go fishing.
Darn, I forgot. I don't own a boat. Well, I'm sure there is someone I know how owns a boat. Yes, in fact, I do know someone how owns a boat. I think I'll try to go fishing, with the someone I know who owns a boat, next weekend.

I'll let you all know if my suggestion works out.
See y'all on the water.

We had planned to go this weekend but the wife had some minor surgery on Friday so I said stay at home.

Looks like we will go out next weekend for the first time of the year. Even talked today about a possible new lake

The wife is fine now but I thought she would be better at home yesterday and today.

hehee, The idea of a suggestion thread is a good one, though the real suggestion above is to find a way to get out of doing the honey-do chores!

Suggestion: use dollar-store plastic cutting boards as pads for your jacks... they spread the weight over a sufficient area to avoid sinking, are cheap, and store easily.

Mike. May I suggest you try your darnest to get out or get somewhere. It's apparent the winter has been to long for you. Good luck planning your escape.

To milzat,
My Suggestion
is to kill two birds with one stone. Why not go camping
and go fishing at the same time? Also, nothing says you have to take
the DW with you, unless she happens to be in the vicinity. Other than
that she can stay home for the baby shower.
To welshmen599
About those cutting boards. I'm sure they do well on concrete or ashphalt
but what about sand

milzat,
I forgot, also the DW could still go to the baby shower and commute
back to the campsite afterward if the "site" is not to far away.
and you would still be able to have your cake and eat it to.

Well they should work quite well, I've used them on sod. They tend to be about 10x12" or so, so that would give 120 square inches to spread the load... better than stock levelling jacks anyway.

Suggestion: Take those interlocking square exercise pads you bought for the wife to use - it seemed like a good idea at the time - and use one as a kneeling pad. Larger than the commercial variety, just as comfortable, and you can interlock them into a nice wide one for deck-nailing, roof work or for laying under the trailer on when you get ambitious and decide to paint the frame.

Plus, you finally get your money's worth out of them. Geez, Bear is rubbing off on me.

I suggest that we get some more posting on this site. Let's have some fun folks! Mike has given us this great place FREE of charge to talk about not just Forestriver products but also to hang out and make friends and chat. It's a family site, get your family involved just like when you're out RV'n. My daughters like to hang out with me in the evening while I'm on this site and look at the pictures of the other RVs and trucks and everything else in the gallery. We can start threads on just about whatever we want to (family site remember). So let's pick it up and keep giving Mike a reason for keeping this site open for us.

I like it because it's relatively small and I know some of the folks from other sites, Mike, Bear, Mrs. Bear, Screamin' Eagle.... Let's get to know each other and have some fun.

Also, and this is for Mike. More smilies please
