Taking $ from dishonest sponsors . . .
To the owners/operators of Forest River Forums,
Hi, I'm a new member and immediately noticed some rather poor choices in who you choose to take advertising money from. The little banner across the top of the screen by Mayors Against Illegal Guns flat out lies when it says "94% of North Dakotans support background checks on all guns". It might be 94% if the poll was taken on the campus of UC Berkley, but certainly not in North Dakota. I hope your staff will be a little more discerning about who it allows to run ads on the site in the future or I'll very quickly find another venue.

You can also click the adchoices and opt out of most of these adds. Very happy with this form, informational and even sometimes funny. Happy camping

Why are you looking up at the adds, If you notice if something is mentioned the adds pop up on that subject. You are not required to read them. You are missing the point. The members who respond have nothing to to do with the adds. I see them all the time but I'm to busy reading the the answers that the members have taken the time to respond to. I really do not understand your point of view. I guess you do not understand how the internet works. I have never seen or heard anyone say look at the add....Who care what add pops up. I want to know what the members say. My personal opinion is find another web site to complain on and lets make this clear this is only my opinion and not this web site or forum, best of luck to you and Happy Camping.........

I didn't even notice a baner. Still can't find it. If the anti gun lobby wants to pay for our great forum I say take their money. I do read some of the adds in case any advertisers are reading this. Now where can I get some ammo I feel like shooting. And ye I do carry most every where I go. And the ads still don't bother me. What is a sageghost?

Welcome to FRF!!
Some clarification for you-- the rest of the posts here already "get it" 
We don't "choose" advertisers. The ads pay for the site so you don't have
to. The ads rotate and site admin have no pick and choose.
Occasionally we get something really off- maybe a "dating service" or
something. In those cases site admin try to get them stopped but that takes
a few days.
You can choose to ignore them or get an ad blocker app for your browser.
