We run Tapatalk on the forum I run, I can tell you that the new version is not as good as the original.

We still have a copy of the original Tapatalk if anyone needs it, PM me.

I do not use the iPad app at all. I like the web based format, even for the iPad. The only problem is that I cannot post pictures using the iPad

I'm gonna have to say I like the old set up rather than the tapatalk. That's just me but I'll get used to it.

you would think that a custom App would bring richer content and more capability than what you can get in "just" a Web Browser..not so with the "new" iPad app. Not sure it is the FR admin's fault though - just may be the nature of the tapatalk beast...

I just got a notification on my Android telling me to update my Forest River App. Is the newer version better than the old version I'm currently using? The update info doesn't say what the changes will be. It's pretty vague. Thanks.

I downloaded the new app today. It's definitely easier to navigate. I noticed that it doesn't un-bold thread titles after you've read them though. Is there a setting for that or is there some other way to see read vs unread posts/threads?

I agree that the "un-bolding" of replies is a feature I miss a lot. Same to "highligting" sumforums.
