f1100Turbo, I don't have what you have. I have only ONE bar, the "new subscribed threads" which is ZERO for me, I'm not subscribing to any threads.
Janet H, I seem to have the 10 "thanks" points. I just cannot ascertain where I got them. But what you said makes sense. I think the 10 points I have are the "FRF secret" points.
Ok, I'm taking a WILD guess that I only have the ONE bar because I am not subscribed to any "groups" (yet). If I subscribe to a group, I'll get that bar. And, I don't have a "thanks" bar because no one has, really, "thanked" me. I prefer the "thanks" in a post, not the "points."
On the other hand, on the ItsDeductible web site (tax issues), I do have a lot of "thanks" points and I like that........

We all learned something new with this today thanks to Janet.
I've experimented with it and you will need 11 "thanks" to see the bar (the 11th being your own). I just sent you one for helping us solve the mystery!

And NOW I have the "thanks" bar! Goody Goody gumdrops. Once I figure out software, I can troubleshoot pretty good.
Janet deserves the "thanks." She was the one who remembered the "secret 10 points."
Janet, I may have "thanked" you twice. I clicked on the "thanks" button and nothing happened, so I did it again, and still nothing happened.
