We care - a lot actually. We get lots of requests for subforums and carefully consider each one. The decision to add a subforum impacts board navigation and usability. We are cautious about not adding extra topic buckets unless there is a true need, which is demonstrated by an abundance of existing topics on that subject. Contrary to common belief adding a subforum doesn't generate more discussions - it actually can make it tougher to find content - especially for mobile users. So, we weigh the pros and cons before proceeding.
We have a number of models that have no associated subforum and as Forest River adds a whole new crop of them every year this is always likely to be the case.
As noted earlier we are mulling this request over - it was made about year ago and at that time we didn't think there was a need but a year has passed and so we're looking again.
In each section of the forum there is a general topic area for discussions and the accumulation of discussions in that area is usually a good metric of needed new forums.
