Weird displays when clicking on topics

For three days, now, every time I click on a topic, the log-in page shows up, telling me I'm not logged in even though I am already logged in. Also, each topic I look at has big advertising displays after every post on the topic, between the last line of the posts text and the poster's signature..

WHIHI? I have Simple Adblock running, so I shouldn't get any advertising. This has only started in the last week or so, and is the same whether I log in though Google Chrome or IE8 (can't go higher thatn IE8 because I'm still using WinXP).

Frank, I had the same problem without clicking on the "remember me" button. Once I stared doing that, I can view the forum as usual.

The techies are working on the issue.

Doing a clean-up with CCleaner solved the issue. Must have been an out-of-date cookie.
