I thought we looked into this awhile back in another thread from you:
Can you post a screenshot of the full expanded icon list on your computer, so we might can see how it's moving. On mine, it always seems to be exactly underneath the "thread hijacked" icon.
Now we do add emoticons from time to time, which will then move all the other icons that come behind it either across the row or perhaps down a column. On a double column list, it reads
1 2
3 4
5 6
etc
A screenshot (like below) may help if you add it so we can look to see what is going on. Thanks
EDIT: I may go ahead and merge these two threads since they are asking the same question from the same member.

I cant explain it any better than Post # 1. In regards to "a while back" that had to do with the US Flag below other country's Flag's! We are in the United States of America our Flag Code says Our Flag is displayed Highest not below others! Youroo!!

This is where it's confusing. I cannot follow how in a two column list, that if one icon (the us waving flag) is moving, how it cannot but help move any/all icons below it in the list...which you are stating that all the other icons stay in the same place.

That's why it would be extremely helpful, if you (or other members with the same problem) could post us some screenshots.
Thanks

I am a little slow at some things. Are you asking why the flag is not the 1st choice in the smilies list or at least in the same place all the time? And why do you ask this?

Better re-read the flag code. .. when displayed with other countries they are at the same height! We are no better than anyone else. Simple rule.

When using the full site to respond or post a new message, there is a gallery of smilies to the right hand side of the text box. At the bottom left of the smilies is an option of "more". Clicking the option of more will bring up a window of all the insertable smilies. You may have to expand the window to full view to see all of the smilies. Clicking on the smilie will insert it into your post...... or you can also just enter the code for the smilie, if you know it too. If you know the code, you don't have to waste time looking up the smilie.
Here is also a list of all the smilies, that tells you what to type to achieve it. You may want to bookmark it for future reference. This is also the order in which they appear.

Not to confuse the issue but the Canadian Flag is always flown in Canada above the United States (with exception of Alaska territory).

When Flags of other nations are flown, they should be of the same height,on seperate staffs, all flags the same size! International Law forbids flags of one nation to be flown above flag of another nation during time of Peace! Youroo!!

Doing a test here seeing if I use multiple smilies and keep going back to the full list if for some reason they change locations
and the answer is they don't in my view.
Here is a screenshot of how the expanded smilies list show to me:

Yes I corrected that in post # 14! Thanks I was thinking about the US Flag should be in the Center at the Highest point when displayed as a group of flags of State, localities,or societies are grouped! Youroo!!

I am not talking about repetitive/consecutive use of the same smilies,I am saying after a few hours or the next day the Flag smilie will be in a different place! Thanks for trying! Youroo!!

This thread is in the forum admin section and needs to stay focused ONLY on any forum/website issues.
If anybody can provide us a screenshot of where the smilies are possibly moving from the order in which they are normally in as per posts #12 or #15, we would appreciate it.
If not, then this problem may be limited to one member, and thus not a site malfunction. Thanks

Hey folks!!
This thread started as a question about the smilies that include both
Canadian and USA flags.
Nothing more.
We have no secret hidden agenda to somehow cause them to be shuffled
in any specific order!!
Really!!
If you want a flag in your message, click the [more] link in the supplied list
of smilies and choose one!
Personally I wish the thumbs up and thumbs down smilies were in the first
group cause I'd definitely put a thumbs down on this thread which
by the way is located in the member account forum which is not really for general discussion issues.
