Alfred Hitchcock's Birds

Last week we took our new Rockwood 5th wheel on its maiden voyage to Salamonie Lake in northeastern Indiana. Everything was fine but we sure had and interesting run-in with a bird. For the whole four days we were at the campsite, a female cardinal kept ramming the windows on our RV. It would wake us up in the mornings and keep it up until bedtime. I would chase it away but it would come back in ten minutes. Apparently it was intrigued or threatened by its own reflection. We have bird feeders at our house and have an occasional window strike, but have never been attacked before.

GREAT picture, BTW! She may have had a nest near by and saw her own reflection as a threat to her newly hatched babies?

We used to have a parrot that went NUTZ when he saw his reflection in a mirror. Obviously he thought it was another parrot that "needed killin'"

And, I finally had to put flower stickers on our back storm door. Birds were committing suicide by flying in to it, especially when I had both the back door and front door (which has a wreath on the storm door now) open, which are directly across the house from each other.

If age is a state of mind, and I've lost my mind, I'm AGELESS, right?
Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around:

That's a great reflection picture. I wonder what it was after.
