Some of the best camping spots are directly on the beach. Hundreds of people have been doing it for years. You just need to know what your doing. Posting a picture of a moron shouldn't blow your mind. There's stupid people everywhere.

Risk vs reward for me. No spot on the beach would be worth risking those consequences. But whatever floats your boat ( or trailer )

The Internet is filled with freak occurrences. My opinion....not going to live in a bubble, because everything has risks.

Your right I can see that happening just from freak weather, but that beach stuff is just plain stupid on there part. I know they use to allow cars to drive on beaches in the Pismo area of California, but I think they even stopped that now, I used to live in Oceano Cal. right by the beach even without trailers people would have to towed out, don't know if they still allow that or not anymore...

You don't have control over the weather and not always what others do but................................ where you pull your trailer you usually have control over.

Salt water and sand, that will help out the bearings, brakes and suspension, not to mention the gallons of water working on the plywood and flooring. There has to be a guy there with a tractor making a bucket full of money hauling them out.
