Campgrounds with pickleball?

My DW just discovered this sport. She played it for the first time today and was on Amazon a few hours later to buy her own racket! Which leads me to ask... does anyone know of campgrounds that have pickleball courts?

Only seen them in private RV parks. Lots of pickleball courts in the Southwest RV parks.

Lots in Florida. Thousand Trails Orlando, Royal Coachman, Peace River Thousand Trails, and Breezy Hell all have it.

I guess that provides an excuse to winter in those areas.

(I'm not ready yet!)

Often, tennis courts are relined to handle pickle ball. You can fit 2 pickle ball courts on one tennis court. One on each side of the tennis net. They do pickle ball at our country club on a few of the tennis courts certain nights. If you are camping near a big city, you can likely find public tennis courts that offer it.

Might be helpful if you tell us where you like to camp!

Big all around Florida. In our park itís all but taken over tennis. At 8Am each morning in the winter a group gives lessons.

Two nights a week the courts are open till 9 pm. You take your group down and wait in line for next court to open. As much a social event as anything.

Some town parks have created special pickelball parks ó Punta Gorda is one town that has done this.

OK, I've heard of pickle ball before but I had to google gaga ball.

It had nothing to do with the singer/actress either...

Discovered this sport four years ago and thoroughly enjoy it. Play outdoors during the summer and I play inside during the winter.
When traveling to AZ, they have courts nearby to play as well. Great group of people who play it home and in AZ.

My son is gaga-ball-crazy. We played it at the ex-Jellystone in Madison, FL this past March. It was all we could do to drag him away from the gaga ball pit. He'd come back sweaty, tired, hungry, and dirty!

We finally played pickle ball in SoCal this past winter.

I was surprised at how bad we were at it, and how much work it was!

The park we were at had 8 courts, and a major tournament while we were there. It was actually a lot of fun!
