Perhaps I should crack open the wallet and buy a fishing license, I do have two more trips to Illinois lakes this year. Although the trip to Rend Lake is for a Wine and Art Festival so there probably wouldn't be much fishing on that trip.

Best of all u dont even need to leave the camper to purchase it !

I think you're right. Couldn't find anything about camping there on the web. But we did stay there in March of 2010. It's possible they closed their campground because of the abundance of other facilities in the area.

Thanks for the compliment RVChick. This campground is one of my close to home favorites. It's just an 83 mile drive from storage lot to campsite.

Last may, we had a nice view out of the front windshield. Too bad we did not get a backin.
