Sounds like a good time, camping with a larger group makes it so much better. Packing up wet stuff is not fun, but packing up in that cold downpour - oh my. Would have liked to see pics but can understand wanting to get away from the phone;-)

Went to Universal studios yesterday, and my (almost) 17yr old has a "thing" for Captain America. We are convinced she thinks he's real!

Ah, memories! We take our granddaughters as often as possible. They're 6&7 years of age. The fun starts in the mornings when I come down and find them laying there, pretending to be asleep - amidst giggles.
Yep, I too remember using 35 mm film. Lots of it. How about the Brownie Box camera? Some of you probably when black powder was used for the flash!

What, people don't use 35 mm any more?

This is my favorite triptych from our Spring Break trip last week. Pictured is my youngest, and Gramps. Petrified Forest State Park in Utah. Did I mention that Utah takes their State Parks seriously, and they are REALLY nice?

Always a beach!

Our major vacations typically involve a beach somewhere.

Freedom to travel

Last summer we visited a Safari park outside of Hershey, PA and Niagra falls. All the moving water wore them out! We typically visit the grandparents for the girls birthday and cake. In August it's Iowa State Fair time. We boondock in overflow, so you always got to bring lots of toys!

It was Lake Tobias. This was a day trip for us while we were waiting on parts to get our air conditioner fixed in Harrisburg.

Here is a link to their website. Well worth the time with the kids.
